MULTIVERSES AND KARAOKE

Another week and another plucky new recruit in our ever-expanding DC universe. As usual, we’ve delved into her mind with a bunch of deeply important questions. Meet our lovely new Account Executive and karaoke queen, Anna Sellick – we can’t wait to see what magic she brings to the role.

What are you most looking forward to about working at DC?

I can’t wait to take on the new challenge. It’s a complete career change and I’m really excited to learn and get stuck in with all things DC.

What was the last movie you went to see? What did you think?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was the last film I saw. My nine-year-old loved it – we’re big Marvel fans.

What is your go-to karaoke song? Why is it your go-to?

Hotel California by The Eagles is my forever karaoke song. Although I always forget how long it is till I’m mid-song. It reminds me of being 20 and having an unforgettable summer in Ibiza. There was a bar we spent a lot of time in, and every night the owner would close it by belting out Hotel California on his guitar. Every. Single. Night.

What is your biggest fear? And why do you have that fear?

I can’t handle horror movies and I’m very squeamish about eyes, so as you can imagine the film Hostel traumatised me.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

It’s probably cliché, but I’m genuinely so proud of my son. Anytime he does anything remotely well or interesting, I just think, I made that.
