Nobody loves their bank. In fact, many people are less than satisfied. So this was our starting point with Atom – an app-only challenger bank. Our brief was to turn the heads of the inquisitive and tempt them to try a different way to bank. Because who knows, they might turn out to rather like it.
Our idea of ‘Bank-curious’ is to build trust in an industry that’s significantly under question. Through digital marketing with flirtatious and slightly risqué messaging, our intention was to get people questioning their loyalty to their existing bank and to redefine their everyday relationship with money.
Our web designers and social media experts got to work and delivered the campaign – we were given three months to generate 8k followers on Facebook and 15k on Twitter, and we completely smashed it.
